Who can use Nitikos

Nitikos is intended for readers aged 18 and over. By creating an account you confirm that the details you give us are accurate and that you are old enough to enter into these terms.

Subscriptions

Nitikos is free. Subscribing or creating an account costs nothing and requires no payment details, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity that happens under your account. Please do not share your login. Tell us at support@nitikos.com if you ever suspect unauthorised use, and we will help you secure the account.

What you can and cannot do

The articles, analysis, and design on Nitikos are original work and belong to Nitikos. You are welcome to read and to share links freely. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute full articles, or copy substantial portions, without permission. All content is for your personal, non-commercial use.

Privacy and your data

We collect only what we need to run the publication, and we never sell your personal data.

• What we collect: your email when you subscribe or write to us, and your name, email, and phone number if you create an account. We also keep basic, non-identifying analytics on how the site is used.
• How we use it: to deliver the writing and newsletters you signed up for, to run your account, to reply to you, and to understand what readers value.
• Who it is shared with: only the providers that make Nitikos work - our email and hosting providers, and our analytics provider - and only as much as they need. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
• Security: account passwords are encrypted and are never stored or visible in readable form, including to us.
